Cycatrix Adaptitude
“Cycatrix Adaptitude,” formerly entitled “Black Horticulture,” is the psycho-romp of a group of Romanian dancey-dancey girls led by Maestro Stelian Virgiliu Vasilica. The troupe has just arrived in NYC and they’re horny to make it in the movies. As they free-wheel through a crazy array of skits and speeches, all in an attempt to show their depth of talent, they slowly careen toward the climactic moment when they actually merge with their cinematic love-object, Matthew McConnaughey, in a romantic uploading catharsis of cultural coupling.
This play can be done with 5 actors.
It was produced once by Inverse Theater in various NYC locations. That production’s page is here.
